Atlee's 3rd Birthday!

This was my favorite birthday so far of Atlee's. I just love my sweet girl so much I don't know where to start. Well I woke her up and put her birthday crown on and sang to her and she was all smiles. (well except the fact she didn't like the sash... but I told her I just wanted to take a couple of pictures and then she could take it off.) I got off early to have the family over and swim and spend as much time possible with her as I could. We took a nap when I got off and I cleaned. Then Connie and the girls came over and we went swimming. (everyone else showed up later) Lexi- rotten Aunt Lexi- didn't bring her swimsuit and this was VERY upsetting to Atlee. She cried b/c she couldn't get in the pool with her and then didn't want to swim she wanted to just sit by her Lexi. Mia is a good swimmer now and Jules is not as scared of the water so we had a lot of fun! Jules was going under water and everything it was a blast! I'm missing some of the pictures I thought I had at the pool but I will try to find them and upload them soon. Well after the fun in the pool we went upstairs and ate lasagna and garlic bread. Yum! And played with Ella... which Mia sure did love!!! She didn't understand why Ella didn't liked to be held all the time and hid under the couch but it will still fun. Then we had birthday cake and everyone left. At the end of the evening when I was reading Atlee her bedtime story to her she asked in a very sad tone "Is my birthday over?" Aw! She was so sad and precious. I told her yes her real birthday was over but we have your party on Saturday.

This turned out so well! There was like 30 people there and some of my co-workers came with their kids (or grand kids) All the girls played dress up and Atlee got so much stuff it was amazing. I have such wonderful friends and family! Of course it was a princess party and Lexi, Jamye, and I dressed up as well!

Then after everyone left Mia, Jules, and Atlee played in a sprinkler hopscotch that I bought for the party but it didn't happen. This was a lot of fun to watch and Aunt Lexi didn't forget her swimsuit this time... I did BUT I just went ahead and played in my clothes.

After all that fun, we took all of her toys home so she could take a nap b/c we were going to the Ranger's game that evening with Leslie and my parents. I was EXHAUSTED! So Atlee fell asleep and Leslie talked to me while I opened up some of Atlee's toys... This is the LONGEST process!!!! They make it so freaking difficult to get toys out of the box! If someone is going to steal it they aren't going to sit in the isle and take it out they are just going to take the whole thing! HELLO! I got like 4 open and was like Leslie I have to take a nap and, the great person she is said, Sweet I'm tired too! Ah what a friend so we fell asleep, woke up, and went to the Ranger's game. It was great... we lost... got wet... but there was fireworks afterwards so that made it all worth it!
THE END!

I am not rotten, I came from work...I had no idea it would be such a BIG deal!! And to top it off, this was our conversation when we got back to your apt to eat:
ATLEE: "Lexi, why you not bring your swim suit?"
ME: "Because I came straight from work so I wouldn't miss hanging out with you"
ATLEE: "Well you could go to Target and buy a swim suit"

GEES!! How did SHE know that?! Is it b/c her momma shops there a little much?! I think so! Next time I will be fully prepared. I love my little Miss Atlee!

P.S. you need to check my blog
