FUNNY FUNNY stuff!

I love kid stories so here are 2 from just 'lasterday' about Atlee.

Atlee: You know Zacheus? He was that wee little man that stole all those people's money... he climbed up in that "hook em horn" tree.

Me: (CRACKING UP) Honey, do you mean "sycamore" tree?

Atlee: No it was a "hook em horn" tree!!!

Me: (still laughing) ok ok I gotcha... the hook em horn tree yes.

Atlee: Because he wanted to see the LORD. And he said get down from there so he did.

Classic I love that one!

So I call my (ex) mother-in-law to tell her and she tells me THIS story.

Darla says: So Atlee was walking and she stops dead in her tracks and stares out in space. So I ask her "OH! I bet your brain is thinking something really good. What is it?"

Atlee: My brain is not thinking at all... I think it's confused. (she keeps looking for just a few more seconds and then does a little shake of the head) Ok I think it's good now.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I think I would have peed my pants if I was there for that one. Man I love my precious little girl. And I FINALLY got a genuine smile out of her. My new favorite picture...

9!!!!

So Saturday night I went over to Lexi & Chris' b/c I had a horrible day and they invited Atlee and I to go to dinner at Joe's Pasta & Pizza and I stopped and rented movies on the way. (Please be in prayer for me. I don't know how things will go down but I need prayers. This is all private for me, so please just pray for Atlee and me.) We watch Race to Witch Mountain and ate popcorn. The fun came AFTER the movie. Atlee was playing with her FUN Uncle Chris and Lexi & I got some great laughs out of it. Here was Lexi's and my favorite moment.

Uncle Chris is counting to 10 for hide and seek. 1... 2.... 3.... In the mean time Atlee hid behind their chair and I covered her up with a blanket... 7... 8... UMMM says Uncle Chris. And sure enough Atlee from under the covers goes "9!!!!!" Like com'on Uncle Chris don't you know how to count?? Totally hilarious. We were all laughing pretty hard. Fun times. I love memories like this!

Atlee's NEW 16" Bike!

Look HOW fast!!! She's blurry!

She said and I quote “Check this out! I can go fast over speed bumps!” She did SO awesome on this bigger bike! She rode all the way down to Shady Oak and back! (about 2 miles) I had to run to keep up! YAY! That’s what I was hoping for and it happened on our first ride!!!! She also LOVES the handle bar break. She doesn't fully realize you have to queeze it the whole time you want to be stopped but we will get that down. So much fun! I’m so excited about this purchase! She fell 3 times, only once did she cry but there was no “BLEED” so we were good! She drove through a mud puddle and got her ankles muddy which she thought was totally awesome. And only ran off the sidewalk once. (This is a HUGE improvement for her) I’m just so proud! She’s growing up WAY too fast but man this is FUN! Wish us luck! We will be going for another ride tonight at "drama's" house.

An Email To My Sister Lexi:







Ok so I hear your text and go to get my phone but it’s not in the pocket I always keep it in. Hmm… I know I heard it. So I look around my purse to see if it fell out. Nope not there. Hmmm…. I look in my purse… nope not there either! What the heck? So I call it from my work phone. I hear it… I can feel it but it’s nowhere! I call my buddy Ashley over and was like ok I know I hear it but I can’t see it! It’s in my purse. She was like you are crazy. No I really am NOT… this time. So I call it again I have almost everything out of my purse and you can see it glowing through the material. What the???? How’d it get there???? So I have to find the hole it snuck through. It’s in the pocket where I always keep it! So in my head I think… Hey! My new lipstick is missing!!! I wonder if it snuck in there too!!! Surnuff! Made my mornig!!!






So I figured out it's a waste of money to get Atlee's hair cut b/c I can do just as good of a job. I gave her a trim and this is the only piture I have of it so far. I tappered it in the front. It looks so cute! Took off about 1 1/2 to 2 inches b/c it was looking kinda ratty on the ends. But she wants it LONG LONG LONG so we are growing growing growing it.

Here's my new hair color! That's right it's purple!!! ( Looks kinda blue but it's not) I love it! The president of my company ok'd me to put wild colors in my hair as long as it's the minority of it. I was so excited!!! I got it re-cut b/c it didn't swoop like I wanted it but I haven't got a picture of that yet.

Happy Belated 4th of July

So I can't begin to describe how much I love my little girl. I love listening to her sweet little voice.

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! It's one of my favorite time of year. We had a blast. We were at Blake's house and got to shoot off our own fireworks. I haven't got to do this in FOREVER so we had so much fun. Atlee said she like Blake's fireworks the best. And they were pretty fabulous. We went down to the new dock they have and shot them off there. Totally fun.

Right after we bought the firecrackers. She said this was her party hat! Too cute!!

Stupid Tick bite...

So… I get a call today from my dr. They now say my lyme disease test came back HIGH and I have to go to a specialist! I have to go to a Rheumatologist next week sometime. I’m quite irritated to say the least. First, when I called them after 2 days like I was suppose to they said it would take a week and a half for the test to come back but it had come back but as an 83 old woman’s but obviously I’m not that lady. Then the nurse called me the next day and said “Your lyme disease came back very low” I asked if I needed to continue my meds she said once I hit the 3rd day it wasn’t necessary that I finish. Shew for me b/c it was making me VERY nauseous. Then I get this call today. What the hell people?!?! So I gotta start that nappy medicine again tonight and take the rest and then see what happens next week. There’s my irritating update. Hope you enjoyed.
