Love me some Rangers!

Ok so I have a love for live Rangers game. I just love going... the smell... the sounds... I know it's summer when I get to go see my boys. This year I got the privilege to go with my DADDY to OPENING DAY!!! I took the whole day off and it was very much worth it!

We made it over there in no time it was great. (well my Dad was driving like a crazy man and scared me several times!) Well I saw a sign on the highway that said for all people going to the game to exit Fielder or Cooper. So we exited Fielder... BIG MISTAKE!

We sat it this yucky traffic for longer than it took for us to get to the stadium! Dad kept getting aggravated but I said hey CHILL OUT! We are suppose to have fun it doesn't matter. Well a guy in front of us at one point -- who by the way cut us off- jerk-- Got out of his car, SLAMMED his car door, huffed and puffed b/c the light was red, spit, and got back in his car. Glad I didn't go to the game with him. Ok so we FINALLY get to park and it's 1 o'clock... the game starts in 5 minutes!!! So what do we do... RUN. RUN LIKE THE WIND BULLSEYE!!!! -For all of you Toy Story fans :) So that's what we did. We ran almost the whole way to the gate. We missed the first pitch but still it was great!

We ate hot dogs, nachos, and sodas. He went with me to go buy my Ranger shirt so I bought him dip'n'dots. YUM! It was great to say the least!!! I'm going again Saturday to see Third Day. WAY EXCITING. Dad got to go Thursday to the double header... they won BOTH!

Organized

Well I've lived in my little apartment for over a year now and I have been wanting to add more shelves the whole time and I finally did it! I had just gotten my tax return back and paid off the majority of my bills and still had a little extra to do some upgrading to my apartment. (I have paid off everything except for my parents... and I'm working on that just hasn't been going so well but I'm trying!!!) So my mom came over and we had a good time getting them all put up and organized... well my mom organized my shelves while I put up some in my coat closet. But I also went to IKEA and got a book shelf for all of Atlee's books and a toy organizer thing. (it's the block one like Connie has for the girls) This made me WANT to go home to my little 681 sq ft apartment that I had been avoiding b/c it's so tiny and never seems to stay clean with my 2 year old and ME. I'm not the most organized cleaning freak but I'd like to be and this starts me out for the path. I just wanted to show you guys my progress! (this is from February)

If I were an Oscar Mayer Weiner!

Just a random thing... I saw the weiner mobile the other day and had to take a picture of it.
It was in the Kroger parking lot. Made me laugh.
I think Atlee thought I was completely insane for stopping and making her look at it but I thought it was just dandy! I think this is the 2nd time I've ever seen it but this time it was up close and personal! (the first was on vacation when I was young and it was going the opposite way on the hwy)

Our Easter

Our Easter was FABULOUS!!!!! Since all my family was gone I asked Leslie if I could crash her family gathering since I haven't seen them in 5 years! So that's exactly what we did. We woke up and drove to Dallas to go to church with Leslie at Fellowship (downtown Dallas) I absolutely LOVE Fellowship. Well there's a girl that is one of the most amazing singers I have ever heard and she's been missing from the Grapevine location. She's now at the downtown Dallas... I would drive to Dallas every Sunday just to hear her if I could afford it. That's how good she is. So that was a nice surprise. Then from there we drove to Irving to Leslie's grandparents house. I haven't seen them in I don't even know how long. This was just fun. They had never met Atlee so watching her with them was fun. Leslie's Aunt Amy is pregnant so seeing her with her cute belly was exciting. On the way home Atlee was like Mama I not tired and I told her yes you are you have played a lot and it's WAY past your nap time. (Yeah it was 4-4:30 when we left) The next time I looked back at her she was crashed and I couldn't help but take a picture. She's so precious when she's asleep. And I loved it that she rested her head on her hand.

I love proving guys WRONG!

OK so I went to a Mavs game with my friend Steven. I asked if we got there early could we swing by my best friend Leslie loft and say Hi. I promised I would be quick b/c I know how much he loves his Mavs. Well it turned out we went on the night it snowed so we took the train and indeed did not have enough time. BUT the whole way there we fought about where she lived. He was like no one lives right across from the AA center. I assured him that she did in fact live right across the street. But he refused b/c he has season tickets and he's been there a million times and no one lives across the street. So the next weekend I went out to Dallas to visit my sweet Leslie and this is all the proof I needed.

BAM!!! Do you see that! Yes this is the view from Leslie's window in her awesome purpleish living room. Ok the Bricks are from her building oh yes that's the side walk... and then the road and oh wait what is that... YEAH THE AA CENTER!!!! Needless to say I e-mailed this too him and he was like... Oh I guess she does live across the street. Duh! I love proving guys wrong!
